Position: Chef

Department: Operations-Camps

Reporting To: Camp Manager

Location: Serengeti Plain

Scope and Purpose of Job

As a Chef, your role is vital in perpetuating our company aims, goals, and objectives! The primary purpose is to ensure staff are well served and work together with management in a smooth, safe, and harmonious manner.

Requirements

• Experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong multi-tasking skills from 1-3 years' experience.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to a bush environment.
• Commitment to a high level of customer service.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Knowledge of hotels, lodges, and restaurants.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion.
• Knowledge of food production is a must.
• Certificate or Diploma in hotel management.
• Must have basic knowledge of English and Swahili languages.
• Must be willing to be based in camps in remote locations.

Experience

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
