Data Science Officer

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Data Science Officer who is responsible to analyze and interpret complex data to help bank make informed decisions. The resource uses a mix of statistics, programming, machine learning, and domain knowledge to extract insights from structured and unstructured data

Responsibilities:

• Gathering raw data from different sources and preparing it for analysis.
• Identifying patterns, trends, and relationships in data.
• Building predictive models to automate decision-making
• Presenting insights in an understandable way using tools like Matplotlib, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Helping bank optimize operations, improve customer experiences, and increase profits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT or related qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role
• Ability to understand data distributions, hypothesis testing
• Power BI & Power Query Fundamentals
• Python, R & SQL Fundamentals
• Ability to approach complex business problems using data and find innovative solutions through analysis.
• Translating data insights into actionable business strategies
• Ability to operate in a performance driven organization

Skills

• Strong skills in SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data.
