Declaration Officer

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Declaration Officer who will be in charge of ensuring that purchased goods are delivered to the respective buyers and handles all documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that any customs queries are resolved in a timely manner for current shipments on clearance and those on customs audit queries, mostly by coordinating with clients.
• Ensure that photocopies of clearance documents are adequate for Customs and correctly filed.
• Ensure that all declaration documents are in order for submission to customs
• Managing the clearing and documentation process for transit parcels.
• Validations of the border.
• Preparation of Assessments.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transit operations.
• Correctly insert Import Declaration Form data into the TANCIS system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding or any other related field from a reputable training institution.
• 3+ years of proven experience in clearing and documentation of transit parcels.
• Knowledge on TANCIS/TPA is required.
• Strong attention to details, good analytical skills, ability to multi-task and high level of integrity, self-driven, innovative, problem solvers, willing to learn, good timekeeper.
