DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
INDUSTRY: E-COMMERCE
On behalf of our reputable client HR WORLD LTD is looking for a Director of Finance who will direct and oversee all the company's financial activities including the preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries, forecasts for future business growth, and general economic outlook.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Directs the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to the parent company, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
• Ensuring that all the Integration between Mobile application vs ERP is appropriately done and tested before and after going live.
• Overseeing the Mobile Money reconciliation function carried out by the Reconciliation team and ensuring that issues are sorted out timely basis with Mobile Money and Service vendors.
• Ensures that all aspects of the financial control environment are brought into compliance with the Group Minimum Internal Control Standards and then ensures that compliance is monitored and maintained.
• Oversees accounting departments, budget preparation, and audit functions. Meets regularly with department heads to keep informed and to offer direction.
• Reviews reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals and suggests methods of improving the planning process as appropriate.
• Analyses company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, downsized, or eliminated.
• Oversees the preparation of all financial reports for the companies in Tanzania.
• Recognizes and implements new developments in information systems technology, and anticipates organizational modifications.
• Establishes long-term needs for information systems, and plans strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware to meet application needs.
• Ensures confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property.
  
  

*QUALITIES;*

• Candidates must hold a CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent recognized professional qualification in
  Finance and Accounting management.
• Must have a minimum of 10+ of experience in a leading large business group in the E-commerce
  or Mobile money.
• Must have a demonstrated track record of success operating at a senior-level Finance
  position in Trading, especially in an E-commerce or Mobile Money environment.
• Must have headed Finance function in a similar-sized organization.
• Flexible and detail-oriented attitude.
• Strong in Decision-making skills.
• Analytical mind and good in the interpretation of data.
