Head of Accounts Receivable

About the Role

HR World Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Accounts Receivable to join our client in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection process, conducting credit checks, reconciling customer accounts, staying abreast of industry laws and regulations, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with customers regarding outstanding debts and deadlines.
• Oversee and ensure the timely collection of all outstanding receivables.
• Develop and implement solutions to address client-related issues.
• Conduct comprehensive credit checks and establish appropriate credit limits.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting reports.
• Maintain meticulous records of all accounts receivable transactions.
• Stay informed about industry legislation and regulatory changes.
• Lead the optimization and streamlining of billing and collections processes.
• Develop and implement robust quality assurance measures for all processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Head of Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.
