HEAD OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS
HR WORLD Ltd on behalf of our reputable client, we're looking for head of corporate affairs to drive and lead the Corporate Affairs & Legal and agenda: government and stakeholder relations, regulatory affairs including protecting license to trade, corporate reputation and communications, media relations, communities support projects, legal projects, and compliance and governance priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Managing and leading the Tanzania three key function Corporate affairs functions (sustainability, regulatory affairs and communications) and Legal Function
• Drive the agenda in protecting the business’ interest at a local level and ascertain adherence to business ethics as well as to existing policies
• Function supports in follow up of regional directorial level support on commercial operational support and develop initiatives/events for multi stakeholder forums
• Strong focus on data acquisition for key projects around value chains and economic impact Co-ordinate governance across the trust ensuring best practice
• Track and maintain a detailed awareness of the key regulatory issues facing the business and develop strategic responses as required
• Strategy for Government and stakeholder relations, corporate reputation management and corporate brand communications
• Working together with the Legal Manager, coordinate any material court proceedings and litigation issues
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Master’s in International Relations/Economics/ Public Administration or Finance or Strategy/ School of Law LLB
• Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
• Ideally International understanding/experience, given the nature of the global business
