KISWAHILI LANGUAGE SENIOR LECTURER
DEPARTMENT: LINGUISTICS
LOCATION: ZANZIBAR
HR WORLD LTD on behalf of our reputable client we're looking for Senior Lecturers for Kiswahili Language who will serve as the course head as well will oversee any associate instructors and teaching assistants.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Provide academic guidance to students through academic advising, teaching courses, and guiding research projects, and be available to teach short courses as necessary.
• Contribute to the Department’s academic and pastoral care of its students and to the
  enhancement of their learning, personal development, and achievement.
• Assume supplementarily faculty responsibilities, e.g., develop and update curricula, participate in faculty meetings, and serve on campus committees.
• Participate in professional development activities, and adhere to the policies, principles, and procedures of the University.
• Identify opportunities and apply for grants for new research projects, individual and/or
  collaborative.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Holder of Ph.D. plus a Master’s Degree with a GPA of 4.0 or better and an Undergraduate Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the relevant field.
• At least 5 years of proven prior experience in teaching at any reputable University.
• Demonstrate an ability to teach creatively and effectively.
• Ability to supervise teaching assistants or associate instructors.
• Able to employ various approaches, learning styles, and channels to instruct students.
