Operations Manager

HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Operations Manager responsible for leading and overseeing all operational activities, ensuring efficient project execution, optimal resource utilization, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives in line with company strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and manage all projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Supervise Project Managers and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct operational reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support financial planning through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources across projects.
- Lead recruitment, training, and deployment of project teams.
- Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
- Coach, mentor, and manage staff performance in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with HR on performance management and compensation planning.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
- Prepare and review technical and financial proposals.
- Support development of new business lines such as solar solutions and electrical systems.
- Ensure projects are executed in line with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide technical support on mechanical and electrical service requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Advise management on regulatory risks and compliance requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of materials and equipment.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of resources.
- Ensure proper maintenance and management of company assets and equipment.
- Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and training programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in operations or project management roles.
- Strong background in electrical, mechanical, telecom, or related industries is an added advantage.
- Proven project management and execution capabilities.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Good knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and compliance.
