We are seeking qualified Tanzanian candidates to apply for the following job opportunity based in Arusha, Tanzania.

Position Details

• Position: Plumber Fitter
• Reports to: Technical Department
• Position Type: Staff Position
• Job Location: Arusha, Tanzania

Objective of the Role

The Plumber Fitter will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and related mechanical infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient farm operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Repair and maintain:
  • Pumps
  • Valves
  • Boilers
  • Compressors
  • Sprinkler systems
• Maintain service and repair records.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and maintenance breakdowns.

Qualifications and Skills

• Certificate or Diploma qualification in Plumbing or Pipe Fitting.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fittings, valves, pumps, and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or large-scale facility maintenance is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding technical work safely.
• Ability to communicate proficiently in English and Kiswahili.
