Procurement & Sourcing Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement & Sourcing Officer to manage end-to-end sourcing and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying suppliers globally, obtaining competitive quotes, processing procurement documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, speed, and the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct global part sourcing and supplier identification
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations (RFQs)
• Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms
• Prepare and manage proforma invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes
• Track purchase orders from initiation to delivery
• Coordinate with clearing and forwarding agents to ensure smooth shipment and customs processes
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Provide regular procurement and status reports to management
• Ensure timely responses to RFQs and internal procurement requests
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with accounting/procurement software such as QuickBooks or similar systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international sourcing and logistics
• Familiarity with import/export procedures and documentation
• Prior experience working with clearing and forwarding agents or procurement entities.
