About TEDI and the One Computer Lab One School Program

Tanzania Enlightenment Development Innovations (TEDI) is a youth led nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing equitable access to quality education and digital learning opportunities for children and youth across Tanzania. Through innovative, community-centered initiatives, TEDI works to empower schools, teachers, and students with the skills and tools needed to thrive in the digital age.

One of TEDI’s flagship initiatives is the One Computer Lab One School Program, which focuses on equipping schools particularly in underserved communities with functional digital learning labs, structured digital skills training, and ongoing support to strengthen teaching and learning outcomes. The program aims to bridge the digital divide by ensuring that every school has a sustainable, well-supported ICT lab that enhances learning and prepares students for future opportunities.
