Structural/Civil Engineer – Viva Fiberglass Tanzania

Viva Fiberglass Tanzania Company is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Structural Engineer who can also support the sales and marketing of our fiberglass reinforcement products. If you’re an engineer with both technical expertise and strong client-facing abilities, this role is for you.

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Position: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering Duties

• Design, review, and certify structural elements using fiberglass reinforcement material.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Provide engineering guidance to clients, contractors, and project partners
• Conduct site visits to ensure proper installation and compliance
• Work closely with production teams to support product improvement and innovation

Sales & Marketing Duties

• Promote Viva Fiberglass products to contractors, engineers, architects, and developers
• Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and client training sessions
• Prepare marketing materials and support campaigns targeting the construction sector
• Identify new business opportunities and assist in developing market penetration strategies
• Provide after-sales technical support and maintain long-term client relationships
• Gather feedback from the market to help shape product development and sales strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering
• Registered or eligible for registration with ERB (Engineering Registration Board)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in structural or civil engineering
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete design
• Experience with fiberglass/GFRP materials is an advantage
• Good communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills
• Experience in sales or technical marketing is a strong plus
