Transport Officer

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Transport Officer who will be responsible for managing all transportation operations within the organization to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient logistics support in line with hospitality service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily transport schedules, vehicle allocation, and route planning to support operational needs.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of staff, guests, and goods across multiple locations.
• Supervise drivers and monitor their adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle use, maintenance, fuel consumption, and transport costs.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, regularly serviced, and fully compliant with legal and safety regulations.
• Liaise with the operations team to meet transportation requirements during events and peak service times.
• Monitor and manage transport budgets and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Handle transport-related emergencies and ensure prompt resolution and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in transport operations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of drivers.
• Knowledge of fleet management systems is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
