Accountant

INDUSTRY: CONSTRUCTION

HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting overall financial operations within the construction sector. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies.
• Handle accounts payables and receivables, ensuring timely processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
• Maintain organized ledgers and proper documentation systems.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is an added advantage.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
