SBC Tanzania Limited is a well-established and progressing multinational company that supplies soft drinks products nationwide. We have plants in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha, and Mbeya. Currently, our Mwanza Plant seeks to urgently recruit qualified, experienced and skilled personnel to fill the following position:

Job Position: Accounts Clerk

Reporting to: Accountant

Location: Mwanza

Position Main Responsibilities:

• Scrutinizing and checking for accuracy supplier's invoices, making sure that all relevant documents supporting any company purchases are attached together and duly approved before processing the same in the books of accounts.
• Raise expense voucher to each complete batch of supplier's invoice and making sure charge account is correctly put on the expense voucher before posting is done daily.
• Booking of payment documents in the purchase / expense daybook specifying payment date.
• Raising cheque requisitions for due supplier's invoices same to be approved by the FM before cheque is raised.
• Posting suppliers' invoices into the account system on daily basis.
• Rising tax invoice debit note to adjust suppliers account or credit note if required after approval as per authority matrix.
• Do any other job as may be assigned by his supervisor
• Preparation of staff monthly payroll to meet company payment day.
• Ensure that all payroll schedules are accurately computed.
• Ensure all deductions are taken care of before finalizing payroll summary.
• Ensure that all statutory deductions are paid to the relevant authorities before the set deadline so as not to incur unnecessary penalties.
• Do reconciliation on various payroll accounts such as Salary advances, Staff loans, Allowance advances, etc.
• Send OT Hours for approval to Respective Heads of Departments on daily basis.
• Processing staff- leaves forms and advance payments.
• Update leave status for all employees as per master sheet

Entry Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in; Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Passes in English.
• Basic knowledge in Mathematics

Competencies/skills:

• Knowledge of basic Auditing
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions;
• Ability to write reports
