Accounts Officer

Mawibho Beverages Company Limited, a company engaged in the production and distribution of soft drinks, is announcing job vacancy for the position of: Accounts Officer

Qualifications for the Applicant:

• Must have completed at least Form Six Certificate
• Must have a certificate in accounting, or a diploma or Bachelor Degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience in accounting, especially in the beverage or FMCG sector, will be given priority
• Good ability to use computer programs such as (Ms Excel, Ms Word)
• Ability to work hard without close supervision

Job Responsibilities:

• Closing accounts of sales people
• Receiving payment slips coming into the account (accounts statements) and verifying payment slips from sales people.
• Monitor the balance of the company accounts and balance the accounts on a daily basis
• Ensure that the supplier accounts are consistent and close with the office accounts.
• Prepare accounting statements on a weekly and monthly basis
