Agency Banking Officers – 4 positions
Job Purpose
To drive the growth and performance of the Bank’s Agency Banking business through effective acquisition, onboarding and management of agents, while expanding financial services outreach, transaction volumes and revenue, and ensuring strong agent support, service quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new Agency Banking agents within assigned territories.
- Drive growth in active agents, transaction volumes and transaction values.
- Mobilize deposits and support acquisition of new banking customers.
- Identify new markets and strategic locations for expansion of the Agency Banking network.
- Reactivate dormant and low-performing agents.
- Drive Agency Banking revenue and profitability.
- Conduct regular agent visits and relationship management.
- Support agents with liquidity management and operational challenges.
- Train agents on products, services, systems and customer service standards.
- Monitor compliance with KYC, AML/CFT, Bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular performance reports and provide market and competitor intelligence.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Marketing, Economics, Commerce or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in Agency Banking, Banking Sales, Mobile Financial Services, Fintech, Business Development or Relationship Management.
- Proven ability to deliver sales and business growth targets.
- Experience in agent, merchant or distribution network development will be an added advantage.
