CA Part-Qualified Finance Professional - Overseas Assignment (Tanzania)

LTL Transformers Tanzania is seeking a CA Part-Qualified finance professional to support our finance and administrative operations in Tanzania on a one-year overseas assignment. This role is ideal for a finance professional who already has exposure to Tanzanian finance, taxation, payroll, administration, imports, or regulatory processes, and who is comfortable working in a manufacturing and operational environment.

What You Will Do

• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with Tanzanian statutory and tax compliance, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, Stamp Duty, SSCL, and related TRA requirements.
• Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, month-end journals, reconciliations, and financial system entries.
• Assist with payroll processing, statutory deductions, employee-related payments, and compliance requirements.
• Support import and customs-related documentation, supplier coordination, clearing activities, and regulatory follow-up.
• Maintain VAT schedules, fixed asset records, finance schedules, and supporting documents for audits and reporting.
• Support implementation of internal controls, finance procedures, and corporate governance requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, government institutions, clearing agents, and other external stakeholders.
• Support day-to-day administrative and finance operations of the Tanzania business.

This is a practical overseas exposure opportunity for a developing finance professional who wants to strengthen experience in international finance operations, Tanzanian compliance, manufacturing finance, and cross-border business administration.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in Tanzania finance, accounting, administration, taxation, payroll, imports, or regulatory work will be a strong advantage.
• Degree or professional studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant finance/accounting experience preferred.
• CA Part-Qualified candidate.
• Exposure to a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or project environment will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation, statutory compliance, and documentation.
• Strong Excel and general accounting-system knowledge.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently in an overseas assignment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
