About the Role

Habari Node is seeking four motivated and results-driven Business Development Executives to grow its customer base across Tanzania. Each executive will be responsible for achieving assigned customer growth targets within a defined geographical area covering three regions. The successful candidates will drive sales, meet revenue targets and contribute to the company’s overall objective of achieving more than 100% of its sales targets.

Key SMART Results for Success

• Customer Acquisition: Grow the number of quality customers by generating daily leads in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and achieving targets communicated by the Area Manager. Follow the prescribed sales process without deviations while maintaining profitable and productive customer relationships. Cash transactions are not allowed.
• Attendance and Compliance: Maintain a 100% work attendance record and ensure full compliance with company absence-management policies and procedures.
• Independent and Team Performance: Demonstrate the ability to achieve individual sales targets independently while contributing effectively to a cooperative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell Habari Enterprise Internet packages and associated value-added services by executing sales activities within the assigned territory in line with strategies provided by the Area Manager.
• Provide timely and continuous reports on sales activities, including updated prospect lists in the CRM, competitor information, network issues, theft and other reports requested by the Area Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement marketing plans and strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness, improving brand perception and expanding market penetration.
• Execute market activations, roadshows and territory branding activities using posters, ABS boards, flyers and other promotional materials.
• Identify new business opportunities in both corporate and residential market segments.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and improve lead conversion ratios.
• Support customer retention and revenue collection within the assigned markets.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong sales skills and a good understanding of business processes.
• High energy, determination and focus on exceeding sales targets.
• Accurate sales forecasting and the ability to maintain a credible sales pipeline.
• Experience selling to enterprise customers and preparing quotations.
• Ability to provide timely and accurate sales reports, including prospect lists, competitor intelligence, network issues, theft and customer non-compliance with home internet service requirements.
• Ability to work with the marketing team to improve brand engagement within the assigned territory.
• Ability to follow company rules, procedures and sales processes.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools to record sales activities and maintain healthy conversion ratios.

The successful candidates will be assessed against the following performance indicators:

• New Revenue Generation: 100% target achievement.
• Lead Generation: 15 leads per week.
• Conversion Rate: 100% target.
• Customer Retention: Retention performance in assigned markets.
• Revenue Collection: Collection performance in assigned markets.
• Sales Pipeline: 100% target achievement.
