Nyati Cement is Hiring: CCR Officer

Nyati Cement, part of Lake Cement Ltd., is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as a CCR Officer.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the operational efficiency and success of our cement plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating plant equipment from the Central Control Room (CCR) and ensuring smooth, safe, and high-quality production.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in Chemistry
• 1 to 3 years of experience in CCR Operation of a Cement Plant

Required Skills

• Good communication skills in Swahili and English
• Strong knowledge of process and operations
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Critical thinking

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment (VRM, Ball Mill, Kiln, Cement Mill, Coal Mill) from the Central Control Room (CCR) to achieve production targets.
• Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment while complying with all safety protocols and ISO standards.
• Train and guide CCR operators to improve overall efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, troubleshoot process issues, and maintain smooth and steady operations.
• Monitor and maintain product quality standards.
• Provide support during shutdowns, breakdowns, and any additional tasks assigned by management.
