Civil Engineer

HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer specialized in residential buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and ensuring the successful execution of residential construction projects in line with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, design, and oversee residential building projects from foundation to finishing stages.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, project specifications, and material requirements.
• Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress and quality reports for management review.
• Ensure all works comply with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Provide technical guidance, problem-solving, and support throughout the construction process.
• Implement sustainable construction practices and promote continuous improvement in project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design and project management software.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, construction methods, and material standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
• Registered with a recognized Engineering Board (ERB registration is an added advantage).
