About the Role

As a Data Scientist at Selcom, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across various business lines. You will be responsible for analyzing data, building models, and creating insightful reports to support business growth and strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. A Master's degree is considered an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, business intelligence (BI), or analytics. Experience in fintech/payments is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques including regression and clustering, and forecasting methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis across Selcom's business lines to deliver decision-ready insights.
• Build and maintain scorecards, dashboards, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Drive data governance initiatives and establish analytical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
