TANZANIA NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY (TANROADS) is vested with the responsibility with maintenance and development of the trunk and Regional Roads networks in Tanzania Mainland. Apart from this is also responsible in conducting Axle Load Control Operation using Weighbridges.

The Regional Manager, TANROADS – GEITA on behalf of the Chief Executive (CE) TANROSDS seeks to recruit qualified and competent with integrity integrate Tanzanian Citizens to fill the following vacant posts on contract terms (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance). 

POSITION TITLE: DRIVER – (2 POSTS)

Key qualifications for the Driver;

• Holder of Ordinary Secondary Education Certificate (Form IV Certificate) or higher with Motor Vehicle Trade Test Certificate from VETA or NIT Certificates;
• Holder of valid Class D and E or C 3 driving license issued by relevant Authority
• Should have experience of not less than three (3) years in Driving;
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken Kiswahili and English languages;
• Not above 35 years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Driver

• Driving Agency motor vehicles;
• Maintaining the vehicle logbook;
• Check and report the maintenance requirement;
• Keeping the vehicle in good working order and in clean condition;
• Delivers and Collects Mail and Goods;
• Performing such other related duties as may be assigned by his Supervisor and Head of Accounts and Administration unit.
