The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Dar es Salaam wishes to invite applicants qualified persons to fulfill the position of the Driver.

Applicants:

• Ready to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Maintains awareness of people and surroundings and takes corrective action in case of emergencies.
• Coordinates periodic services and monitors mechanical repairs by dealers or other automotive service centers.
• Be knowledgeable of host country traffic laws, city traffic patterns, streets, location of major buildings and government offices, organizations, and diplomatic missions
• Be able to deliver passengers and materials on time and safely.

Qualification

Education Requirements: Secondary School or completed advanced level.

Speaking and writing of English Language

Experience:

• At least five years of experience in a Driver position.
• Excellent time management, communication and observance to protocol.
• Ability to use GPS/online maps
• Formal appearance and dress at all times
• Medical/Health checks will apply
• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively, constructively and flexibly in a smaller sized office environment

The successful candidate must have a legal entitlement to live and work in Tanzania prior to recruitment.
