Williamson Diamonds Limited (WDL) is Tanzania’s only large-scale diamond producer. The mine is located in Mwadui, Kishapu District, Shinyanga Region, approximately 160 kilometres south of Mwanza.

The Opportunity

WDL invites suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated candidates to apply for the position of Finance Manager / Head of Finance Department.

Role Overview

The Finance Manager / Head of Finance Department will report directly to the General Manager and will provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire Finance function. The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall management and performance of the Finance Department, ensuring the effective delivery of financial management, financial reporting, financial governance, internal compliance, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and treasury management, statutory compliance, risk management, audit coordination, and internal controls.

This role serves as the principal financial adviser to the General Manager and Management Team, providing timely, accurate, and commercially relevant financial information to support sound business decisions and the achievement of the Company’s strategic and operational objectives. The role requires a strong, energetic, commercially minded, and results-oriented finance professional with proven leadership, technical, managerial, and strategic experience, preferably within the mining or extractive industry.
