About the High Commission of India

The High Commission of India in Dar es Salaam represents the Government of India in Tanzania and handles diplomatic, consular, administrative and other official matters.

The High Commission invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Flag Car Driver (Land Cruiser) under the following terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions

1. Qualifications
   – Form IV education.
2. Driving Licence
   – Must possess a valid driving licence.
3. Driving Experience
   – At least five (5) years of driving experience.
4. Police Record
   – Appointment will be subject to police clearance.
5. Language Requirements
   – Knowledge of English in addition to Kiswahili.
6. Health and Medical Requirements
   • The successful candidate must be in good physical health and mentally fit.
   • A medical certificate will be required before the appointment is issued.
7. Salary
   – USD 650 per month, plus allowances approved by the Government of India.

Probation Period
