Job Purpose

The role will provide overall strategic leadership for the Risk Function for the Bank In addition, the role will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management initiatives and activities to ensure efficiencies in bank operations

Job Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in business related field or its equivalent is required
Holder of CPA, CPA (T) or ACCA
Master's degree in risk or business-related field is an added advantage
Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, 5 of which must be of a managerial position in a bank.
Must have sound commercial acumen
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.
Demonstrated creativity and analytical ability.
