Kairuki Hospital is seeking professional and compassionate hospital receptionists to join its team.
The successful candidates will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. They will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment, supporting patients and staff, and ensuring smooth hospital operations.
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with courtesy and professionalism.
Manage patient registration, schedule appointments, and facilitate patient check-ins.
Efficiently answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Maintain accurate patient records within the hospital’s electronic system.
Handle billing inquiries and verify insurance information.
Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Provide essential administrative support to medical and nursing staff.
Diploma in Front Office Management, Office Administration, Health Records, or a closely related field.
Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer applications, with a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and maintain composure under pressure.
A compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.
A minimum of 2 years of proven work experience within a healthcare facility.
