Human Resources Manager

About the Role

TECIC Tanzania Limited is looking for a grounded, experienced HR professional to take the lead on everything people-related within our organisation. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, champions the wellbeing of staff at every level, and brings a steady, dependable presence that people can count on.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee the full recruitment cycle - from job posting to onboarding
• Manage employee relations and act as the go-to point for staff concerns
• Develop and enforce HR policies in line with Tanzanian labour law
• Coordinate training, performance appraisals, and staff development plans
• Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and personnel files
• Manage payroll coordination and employee benefits administration
• Support management with disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven HR management experience
• Solid knowledge of Tanzania's Employment and Labour Relations Act
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
• Discreet, professional, and able to handle sensitive matters with care
• Proficiency with HR software and MS Office tools
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without being micro-managed
• Fluency in English and Swahili is an added advantage
