Information Systems Auditor

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for an Information Systems Auditor who will be responsible to give independent assurance that corporate governance, risk management, internal controls and compliance structures of the bank are in place. The Information Systems Auditor will also be responsible to perform general and application control reviews on the technology infrastructure and information systems landscape of the bank.

Responsibilities

• Provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of ICT governance, risk and control processes around IT Systems and processes.
• Performs information control reviews to include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
• Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls around systems.
• Preparation of Annual ICT Audit plan that consider all risks associated with the prevailing IT environment.
• Assist external auditors and regulators on IS audit matters that may arise when they reach out to the internal audit function.
• Participate in development and implementing internal auditing manual, policies, procedures, and programs.
• Provide assurance on the IT projects and any other projects that are developed within the bank that require ICT knowledge.
• Perform data validations for any system upgrade or changes.
• Provide revenue assurance.
• Assist in undertaking audit and special investigation/reviews, inspection and surprise checks and give result there on.
• Maintaining and coordinating the day-to-day communication within the internal audit department and with other departments to foster collaboration.
• Develop, update, and maintain risk procedures and systems with respect to risk identification, risk assessment, risk monitoring, risk mitigation strategies and risk reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science from highly recognized institution eg. UDSM
• CISA Certification
• 3+ years of experience working as Information System Auditor.
• Ability to work independently on ICT audit assignments and provide adequate opinion that add value to the organization.
