IT Support Specialist
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with experience in API Support, Linux OS, and entry-level development skills. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description / Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Node Js, PHP, Javascript.
- API Support: Proficiency troubleshooting and maintaining RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Database Management: Knowledge of SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) databases.
- Operating System: Knowledge and experience in working with Linux operating systems.
Experience
- Work Experience: Above 1 year of professional experience in software development/software support.
- Project Management: Ability to support multiple projects and deliver on deadlines.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to collaborative projects.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of support.
Tools and Technologies
- IDEs: Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio Code, and Android Studio.
- APIs: Experience with API testing tools like Postman or soapUI.
