Qualifications:

We are seeking an energetic and responsible Junior Transport Officer to join our team, responsible for handling transport customers for our logistics department. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics, sales, customer handling exposure, and system knowledge, with a mindset to develop the logistics business by acquiring new customers and ensuring profitability.

The Junior Transport Officer will be responsible for revenue generation and the growth of the logistics business with a profitable margin.

Job Role:

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Customer Acquisition and Retention:

   • Visit new customer locations to acquire new transport business.
   • Periodically visit existing customer locations for service level contract reviews, gather feedback, and meet their demands.
   • Identify opportunities for additional business from existing customers.

2. Coordination with Customers:

   • Coordinate with external customers to obtain transport requests and manage truck planning and placement.
   • Ensure timely payment collection from external customers.
   • Coordinate with external customers to understand their weekly schedule and ensure truck availability to meet their demands.

3. Truck Hiring and Cost Management:

   • Hire long-haul trucks from the market within budget to meet company requirements.
   • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments to hired trucks.

4. Revenue and KPI Management:

   • Achieve transport revenue targets and gross margins as per the budget.
   • Meet transport-related KPIs within the assigned timeline.

5. Operational Efficiency:

   • Willing to work 24*7 to meet customer requirements.
   • Maintain all internal records related to the transport business online and ensure timely report submission as per guidelines.
