Mwanga Community Bank Limited [MCBL] is a fast-growing Bank operating in the Kilimanjaro region with its head office and the main branch at Mwanga town supported by three service centers located at Moshi, Same and Hedaru. Currently, the bank is looking for qualified and self-motivated Tanzanian candidates to fill the following vacant positions: –

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Type of employment: Fixed employment contract of 2 years [renewable basis- subject to performance]

SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

This position will be responsible for supporting in achieving maximum revenue for the organization by putting in place strategic marketing campaigns/ activities, develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new market. Regular assessment of the products and services offered by the bank and come up with new ideas on the functional area of Marketing & Business Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring that the bank achieves its revenue goals by implementing result-oriented marketing and business development strategies
• Exploring and implementing growth opportunities in the existing and new market
• Undertaking regular review/assessment of bank products & services to fit in the market
• Prepare customer statistics report and provide strategies for more growth
• Maintain a fruitful relationship with the Clients and address their needs effectively
• Identifying and mapping business strength and customer needs
• Facilitating Sale of existing and new bank products by the Branches/ Service Centers
• Coordinating and forcing branding guidelines and standards across the bank
• Sending business and news updates to bank clients and managing online promotions
• Work closely with branch managers to support the implementation of their marketing plans
• Develop the marketing strategies for the bank in line with its key objectives
• Develop marketing and promotion material for the bank
• Carry out other activities as would be outlined in the detailed job description.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION:

• Advance diploma/degree in marketing or related field
• At least one-year experience in the same field or similar position
• Good in Microsoft word, publisher, and excel
• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Good communication skills both in English and Swahili in oral and written
• Ability to teamwork and leading the team
• High attention to detail and focuses on fact-based decision making.
