We are looking for a dynamic, creative, commercially driven, and highly connected Marketing & Events Manager to lead the marketing, events, brand, and promotional activities of one of Dar es Salaam’s exciting lifestyle and hospitality destinations.

We are looking for someone who understands that great marketing is not just about visibility—it is about creating experiences, building communities, attracting the right audience, and driving revenue.

The Role

The Marketing & Events Manager will be responsible for developing and executing Bravo Coco Beach’s marketing strategy while creating a strong calendar of premium events, corporate functions, lifestyle experiences, brand activations, entertainment, and private events.

You will be the driving force behind how Bravo Coco Beach is seen, experienced, and talked about.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual marketing and events strategy
• Build and manage a strong events calendar
• Develop premium corporate, lifestyle, entertainment, and private events
• Drive event bookings and revenue generation
• Develop strategic corporate and brand partnerships
• Identify sponsorship and commercial opportunities
• Lead digital marketing and social media campaigns
• Oversee content creation, photography, videography, and storytelling
• Manage influencers, media, and public relations
• Develop campaigns to increase customer traffic and repeat business
• Manage event budgets and profitability
• Monitor marketing performance and ROI
• Build relationships with corporates, brands, media, influencers, and key personalities
• Ensure all marketing and events reflect Bravo Coco Beach’s premium positioning

What We Are Looking For

We want a MARKETER, CREATOR, NETWORKER AND COMMERCIAL THINKER.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Expert in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, Events Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, hospitality, events, lifestyle, entertainment, or a related industry
• Proven experience managing successful events and marketing campaigns
• Strong digital and social media marketing skills
• Excellent corporate networking and relationship-building abilities
• Strong commercial and business development skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of content creation and social media trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• A strong eye for premium branding and customer experience
