DKT International Tanzania Seeks Marketing Intern

About the Marketing Intern Role

The Marketing Intern will provide crucial support to marketing and communication activities at DKT International Tanzania. This role offers extensive exposure to merchandising, campaign coordination, content creation, market research, digital marketing, and event management. Working closely with the Marketing team, the intern will assist in supporting ongoing programs, tracking activities, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of graphic design materials for marketing campaigns, social media, events, product promotions, presentations, and other organizational needs.
• Assist in marketing planning through data collection, basic research, and competitor analysis.
• Aid with campaign development and execution, including content drafting and coordination.
• Support social media and digital marketing activities, including engagement tracking and coordination with the digital agency.
• Assist in organizing events, activations, and trainings.
• Monitor marketing activities and support campaign performance reporting.
• Provide support for administrative tasks, internal coordination, and vendor follow-ups.
• Participate in field visits for merchandising, monitoring, and distribution of marketing materials.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Arts & Design, or a related field.
• Must have graduated in 2024 or later (excluding 2026 graduates).
• Basic understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and consumer behavior.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail, particularly in drafting and proofreading content.
• Basic analytical skills and ability to compile data and support simple reports.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team.
