With its Headquarters at PSSSF Commercial Tower, 9th Floor, Sam Nujoma Road in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, EFIC is seeking to employ a qualified Marketing Manager – Industrial Mining Chemicals on behalf of a client. This role is crucial for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies within the industrial mining chemicals sector.
About the Role
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving marketing initiatives, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships within the mining industry. This is a key position for individuals with a strong understanding of marketing, sales, and the industrial chemical or mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies for industrial mining chemicals.
- Identifying new customers and business opportunities within the mining sector.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with mining companies, procurement teams, and industrial clients.
- Conducting market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Preparing marketing plans, sales forecasts, and customer visit reports.
- Supporting product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Working closely with the sales, technical, logistics, and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Representing the company at industry events, client meetings, trade exhibitions, and business forums.
- Achieving agreed marketing and business development targets.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mining, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in industrial chemicals, mining chemicals, mining services, or related industrial products.
- Strong understanding of the mining industry and industrial chemical products will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build long-term business relationships with corporate and industrial clients.
- Strong analytical and market research skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Computer literacy and experience preparing reports and presentations.
