SEC MORE Investment Limited (SMIL) is a legally established Private Company operating within the United Republic of Tanzania, with its Headquarter Offices in Dar es salaam. The company executes Contractor Projects in areas of Electrical, Mechanical as well as Civil, with its operations in diversified sectors including Mining, Chemical & Textile industries, Power Plants, Agricultural, Manufacturing as well as Construction Industry etc.
SMIL seeks to employ qualified, competent, result-oriented and motivated professionals to join its team. Applications are invited for the following positions:
To provide Mechanical Engineering expertise in the planning, design, installation, supervision, maintenance and execution of mechanical works within company projects.
Prepare and review mechanical designs, drawings and specifications.
Supervise mechanical installation and construction work.
Inspect mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
Coordinate with civil, electrical and other engineering teams.
Monitor contractors' performance and progress.
Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Identify technical problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering, safety and quality requirements.
Prepare technical reports and proper project documentation.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the position as may be assigned from time to time.
In possession of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of industrial experience
Registration with the relevant professional engineering body.
Relevant experience in Construction/Engineering Projects is an added advantage.
Knowledge of engineering standards, drawings and project supervision.
Proven strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant engineering software.
