Médecins du Monde is seeking a dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer (MEAL Officer) to join its program in Tanzania. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, accountability, and effectiveness of our humanitarian health initiatives.

CUTTS Hep C Project

In collaboration with leading institutions and local organizations, MdM is implementing the CUTTS Hep C project to support Tanzania’s hepatitis eradication efforts. The project focuses on:

Reporting and Functional Relationships

The MEAL Officer reports directly to the Medical Coordinator and maintains functional relationships with project coordinators and managers within the Tanzania mission.

Overall Objective of the Position

The MEAL Officer will develop, implement, and maintain a robust monitoring and evaluation system to ensure the quality, accountability, and effectiveness of MdM programs in Tanzania. This role is vital for generating reliable data that informs programmatic decisions, supports continuous improvement, demonstrates program impact, and ensures alignment with MdM's mission and donor requirements.
