The position holder for the role of M&E Officer will be responsible for monitoring and evaluation of the Youth Economic Empowerment project “A Working Future” in Mwanza.  S/he will be responsible to support and provide technical expertise in M&E to all Working Future project activities, particularly YSLAs and VSLAs health check to ensure all groups sustainable, including the provision of support to project staff, and staff of partner to implement monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Under the guidance of the CO M&E Specialist and direct supervision of the Project Manager, the M&E

Officer will be responsible for the monitoring and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and for ensuring that the

Working Future project maintains its strategic vision and that its activities result in the achievement of its intended

outputs and outcomes in a cost-effective and timely manner.

 

The M&E Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of the project; assisting the Project Manager in preparing Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and monitor the project activities regularly, developing and maintaining the MIS SAVIX of the project, updating project beneficiary information on YESME! Tool and will be responsible for the collection & analysis of different data in relation to the project activities.
