HR World Ltd, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager who will oversee and manage the company’s entire operational functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination across all departments — including Transport, Warehousing, Customer Service, Procurement, HR, and Finance — to achieve operational excellence, business growth, and profitability.
Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective business performance.
Develop and implement business strategies, operational policies, and procedures to drive productivity and align with company goals.
Supervise departmental heads and ensure effective coordination between transport, warehouse, finance, HR, and customer service teams.
Monitor operational performance through KPIs and performance reports, identifying gaps and implementing improvement measures.
Oversee budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize profitability.
Ensure all logistics operations — including transport scheduling, warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution — meet client expectations and quality standards.
Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and accountability across all operational activities.
Manage client relationships and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Support business development efforts through operational planning and execution of service delivery strategies.
Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
Drive compliance with company policies, labour laws, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Recruit, mentor, and develop departmental leaders to strengthen the management team.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration between departments to achieve company objectives.
Provide operational reports and insights to the Managing Director to support strategic decision-making.
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field
Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in logistics or transport operations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Deep understanding of logistics, fleet, warehouse, and supply chain operations.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with strong negotiation skills.
