JOB PURPOSE

An operations supervisor for a small lodge is responsible for training and supervising employees, reducing operational costs, monitoring their department's compliance with operational policies, and keeping up-to-date with the progress of administrative duties

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Degree or Advanced Diploma

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE: Hospitality knowledge

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 1 year or more

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with the HR, operations and Administration team
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
Experience budgeting and forecasting
Experience in a hotel or small lodge
Knowledge of operational principles and policies

KEY COMPETENCIES

Hotel software experience
Hands-on experience with technological equipment
Professional and hospitality service attitude
Verbal and written communication skills in clear English and Swahili language
Background in sales and marketing
