JOB PURPOSE

To provide hands-on support to user departments on procurement of goods and services to meet organizational needs

THE ROLE

Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers
Work with user departments to establish procurement needs and budgets Prepare procurement documentation including PO, request for quotations, GRNS, etc
Review vendors/suppliers' performance
Maintain procurement records and other important data Negotiate pricing and suppl terms with vendors
Develop plans for purchasing services and supplies
Verify products and services to ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain and update a list of suppliers

Relationships management
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Ability to negotiate terms with suppliers
Skilled and knowledgeable in procurement management
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
4 to 5 years experience in the procurement field
Holder of procurement degree or related Certification/registration with PSPTB is preferred
