Job Purpose:

The Procurement Officer is responsible for purchasing approved requests in Engie Mobisol UK Limited within Tanzania.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for purchasing requested items after approvals. 
  1. Keeping a record of Purchase orders and signed contracts. 
  1. The Procurement Officer is responsible for tracking orders and ensuring they are delivered on time. 
  1. Inspection of items before receiving them to ensure they are of the right specifications and quantities. 
  1. Assist the Procurement Coordinator in posting procurement requests to SAP and follow up on approvals. 
  1. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices. 
  1. Prepare Monthly reports on purchases and submit them to the line manager timely. 
  1. Ensure all suppliers are paid timely and have submitted legal receipts. 
  1. Strictly Following the company's procurement policies and procedures. 
  2. Preparation and management of lease contracts.  
  3. Undertaking any other duties which may be assigned by the Supervisor/Line Manager.
