Position (1): Procurement Officer

Job Location: CHO, DSM (Dar es Salaam)

Job Responsibilities:

1. 1. Undertake procurement processes to acquire assets, goods, services, and consultancies for BTFL.
   2. Manage procurement aspects related to quality control, specification compliance, monitoring, and verification of deliveries.
   3. Ensure transparency in bidding processes and effective competition.
   4. Establish proper recording and reporting systems for procurement activities.
   5. Verify and submit supplier invoices to the Finance Department.
   6. Prepare and submit reports to line supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree from a reputable institution in appropriate disciplines (including Procurement Management, Logistics, and Supply).
• Registered with an appropriate professional body.
• At least five years of continuous practice in procurement functions.
• Planning skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Analytical skills to assess logistical problems and develop realistic solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Negotiation skills, integrity, and computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
