T-MARC Tanzania is a non-profit Tanzanian organization working to improve public health and promote social development. Our socially marketed products and behavior change communication initiatives address pertinent health issues in family planning and reproductive health, child survival, water and sanitation, nutrition and communicable/non-communicable infections like malaria, HIV/AIDS and cervical cancer.
Currently, we are seeking suitable qualified candidates to fill in below positions for USAID Social Enterprise Support Activity (USESA). T-MARC through USESA grows the total market for priority health products by applying social enterprise responsibly: focusing on increasing users, reducing inequities, mitigating risks of crowding out the commercial sector, and sharing evidence and learning with all stakeholders.
Position: Procurement Specialist
Reports to: Senior Procurement Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam
Under the directions of the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist is responsible for seeking quality services, works or products to meet the needs and goals of the organization and acquire them at an acceptable cost. Must thoroughly understand the policy issues and risks associated with the procurement (Local & international) process to ensure that they are all covered for the benefit of the organization.
Holder of Bachelor of Procurement and supply chain management or equivalent with 5 years of working experience. Experience in sourcing both pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and equipment will be an added advantage.
