It contributes to improving the health environment in the community through operational support of the PHCU and health hygiene education programs. In addition, GPIT has provided baking skills training to help disabled and underprivileged young people become self-reliant and is carrying out activities to establish kindergartens in the Kidimni, support quality basic education, and support learning environments and children’s nutrition.
‘Project for the Community-Based Child Nutrition Improvement in Kati district, Tanzania’ is a project supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), a government agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of official development assistance in Korea, and Good People International, a Korean international relief and development NGO. The project supports 27 PHCUs, 22 public pre-schools, and 23 villages in Kati County, Zanzibar, to improve community-based nutrition for children under five.
