Protection Assistant - Case Management

DIGNITY Kwanza is a non-governmental organization registered in Tanzania that aims to safeguard and promote the human dignity of people affected by displacement, people at risk of statelessness, and vulnerable women, children, and youth to attain their social and economic development. Through its integrated approach that combines advocacy, legal aid, and community empowerment and support, DIGNITY Kwanza contributes to the creation of conditions and opportunities for its population of concern to enjoy rights, live with dignity, attain social and economic growth, and participate in the search for lasting solutions to their needs and the overall nation-building. Dignity Kwanza is currently implementing a Child Protection Program in Nyarugusu Refugee Camp, Kasulu District, Kigoma Region, Tanzania. The program focuses on strengthening child protection systems, providing case management services for at-risk children, supporting birth registration, and enhancing community-based protection mechanisms to ensure children's safety and well-being.

Overall purpose of the role:

Under the direct supervision of the Child Protection Coordinator, the Protection Assistant – Case Management supports the delivery of child protection case management services for children at risk.

The Protection Assistant - Case Management will be based in Nyarugusu Refugee Camp, Kasulu District, Kigoma Region, Tanzania. The candidate should be able to work at least 40 hours per week (Full-time).
