Sales Engineer
About the Role
HR WORLD LTD, on behalf of our reputable client in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer. This role is crucial in generating leads for projects and driving their conversion to achieve set targets, with a primary focus on complete solution sales.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify project prospects within the Dar es Salaam region and engage various stakeholders to secure orders, ultimately achieving sales targets.
- Promote complete building solutions to potential clients.
- Develop strong relationships with influential figures in the industry, including Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, and key consumers.
- Actively seek out and cultivate new customer relationships.
- Assist in conducting site measurements to ensure accurate project planning.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure confirmed orders are delivered within the agreed upon timeframe.
- Manage customer complaints effectively with support from the Customer Service team.
- Maintain adherence to company credit policy and collection targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Structural and/or Civil) or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer.
- Strong computer literacy with knowledge of SAP S4 HANA being an advantage.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required.
