The company executes Contractor Projects in areas of Electrical, Mechanical as well as Civil, with its operations in diversified sectors including Mining, Chemical & Textile industries, Power Plants, Agricultural, Manufacturing as well as Construction Industry etc.
SMIL seeks to employ qualified, competent, result-oriented and motivated professionals to join its team. Applications are invited for the following positions:
To drive the company's sales growth by identifying business opportunities, developing clients relationships, promoting engineering products and services, and providing appropriate technical solutions to customers.
Identify and develop new business and sales opportunities.
Promote and sell the company's engineering products and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations and presentations.
Conduct client visits, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
Following up on quotations, tenders and sales leads to convert opportunities into business.
Monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs.
Achieve agreed targets and prepare regular Sales reports and as and when required.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Project Teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the position as may be assigned from time to time.
Holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or any other relevant Engineering discipline.
At least 3 years' in sales within engineering firms or a technical/engineering-related environment
Proven experience in business development, technical sales or solution selling
Strong understanding of engineering products, services and technical solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong customer relationship management and business development skills
Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals
Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to work independently, meet sales targets and work effectively in a team
Demonstrated high level of integrity and attention to detail.
