Sales Executive

AutoXpress Group is East Africa’s leading supplier of tyres, wheels, batteries, suspension parts, and alignment and balancing services with an existing region-wide network of 100+ branches. We represent world-class brands extending superior service to our customers with an identifiable difference. We are looking to recruit a dynamic Sales Executive to join AutoXpress Tanzania Limited. Details of the position are outlined below.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Executive will be responsible for acquiring, retaining, and growing corporate customer accounts, with a particular focus on tyre sales and fleet business. The role will drive revenue and gross profit growth through new customer acquisition, account development, customer relationship management, effective collections, and delivery of exceptional customer service.

These positions are based in Tanzania in the below regions:

• Mwanza – 1 position
• Dodoma – 1 position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grow and retain corporate accounts through planned visits, calls, and dedicated account support.
• Recommend the right tyre and related products for each customer's fleet and operating conditions, and cross-sell complementary products and services.
• Identify and onboard new corporate customers through market intelligence, prospecting, and referrals.
• Deliver on gross profit and sales revenue targets each quarter.
• Oversee credit control.
• Ensure accurate processing of customer transactions and payments.
• Build and maintain fleet profiles for existing and prospective customers.
• Track competitor activity and customer needs, and gather feedback and testimonials.
• Submit timely sales, activity, and customer feedback reports, and contribute to the sales forecast and strategy at the start and middle of each year.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline; sales and marketing is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years' proven experience selling tyres in a corporate or B2B environment.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and acquiring new accounts.
• Sound knowledge of tyre products and basic automobile mechanics.
• Valid driving licence and computer literacy.
